How strict are Utah liquor laws? They do not prevent anyone over the age of 21 from buying a drink. Very much simplified, the main differences are that bars in Utah are called "private clubs" and require membership, usually purchased for a nominal amount, to enter; that all liquor stores are owned and operated by the state; and that a glass of beer with a lower 3.2 alcohol by weight ratio than traditional beer is sold on tap and in grocery stores.
Where are Utah ski resorts and how long does it take to travel between them?
--Alta and Snowbird are located in Little Cottonwood Canyon just outside of Salt Lake.
--Solitude and Brighton are located in Big Cottonwood Canyon, also just outside of Salt Lake.
--Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley, and The Canyons are in the Park City area.
--Snowbasin and Powder Mountain are north of Salt Lake, in the Ogden area.
